The Tortoise and the Hare
Once upon a time, in a forest, there lived a hare and a tortoise. The hare was very proud of his speed, while the tortoise was known for his slow and steady pace. One day, the hare started boasting about his speed and challenged the tortoise to a race.
The tortoise accepted the challenge and the race began. The hare, being very fast, soon left the tortoise far behind and decided to take a nap in the shade of a tree, thinking he had plenty of time to win the race. However, he fell asleep for longer than he intended.
In the meantime, the tortoise continued to walk slowly but steadily toward the finish line. When the hare finally woke up and realized that the tortoise was near the finish line, he ran as fast as he could to catch up. But it was too late, the tortoise had already crossed the finish line and won the race.
The hare was very surprised and disappointed by the result. He had underestimated the determination and perseverance of the tortoise. From that day on, the hare learned to be humble and respectful towards others, no matter how fast or slow they may be. And the tortoise continued to live a content and happy life, proud of his achievement and the lesson he taught the hare.
