The Ant and the Grasshopper
In a beautiful meadow, there lived an ant and a grasshopper. The ant was a diligent worker who spent his days gathering food and preparing for the winter season. The grasshopper, on the other hand, was carefree and enjoyed singing and dancing all day long.
As the summer months passed, the ant stored up food and built a cozy shelter to protect himself from the cold winter. The grasshopper, however, continued to play and didn't bother preparing for the harsh winter ahead.
When winter finally arrived, the grasshopper found himself cold, hungry, and without shelter. He then went to the ant's house, begging for food and shelter. The ant reminded him of how he spent his summer working hard and preparing, while the grasshopper just played and wasted his time.
The grasshopper realized his mistake and felt ashamed of his carelessness. He knew he should have followed the ant's example and prepared for the future. From that day on, the grasshopper learned to be more responsible and hardworking, and he thanked the ant for teaching him this valuable lesson.
The moral of the story is that hard work and planning are essential for success and survival, and we must always prepare for the future, especially in times of abundance.
